Chef Desmond Scott has issued a public apology to estranged wife, popular TikTok star Kristy Scott, after rumours of his alleged infidelity surfaced.

Social media users were shocked to the news of TikTok star Kristy Scott filing for divorce from estranged husband Desmond Scott. According to TMZ, Kristy filed for divorce from Desmond citing “alleged infidelity” as the reason for the split.
Desmond has since released a statement, issuing a public apology to Kristy, stating the mother of his kids will always come first. He went on to state that he is still committed to being a present father to their two sons – Westin and Vance.
“I want to begin by apologising to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused,” he wrote.
“Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been,” he continued.
Desmond also seemingly admitted to infidelity saying he “made choices he was not proud of.” However, he also stated that he wanted to separate towards the end of 2025.
“Kristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” he added.

Kristy and Desmond met when they were just 14 and 15 years old, respectively. The pair dated in middle school. Kristy and Desmond got married in 2014, where they were 19 and 20 years old respectively. Together they have two sons.
In 2024, the pair had a lavish 10 year wedding celebration, revealing that the secret to their successful marriage is the endless support they give each other. The news of their divorce comes just as they completed building their dream home together, which was three years in the making.
According to the TMZ report, the “alleged fidelity” was said to have completely wiped out any reasonable chance of reconciliation. The paperwork reportedly says the couple will soon stop living together as husband and wife.
