Bonang Matheba’s Miss SA looks through the years

South African media personality Bonang Matheba has returned as the host of the 2023 Miss South Africa pageant competition. Since this is Bonang’s third time hosting the competition let’s take a look at what she wore at the Miss South Africa 2018 and 2019 pageants.

THE QUEEN OF COUTURE

In 2018 Bonang wore four elegant couture dresses. Bonang’s first three dresses were designed by Fouad Stark Couture and her fourth was designed by Steven Khalil.

According to Bellanaija, or her first look Matheba wore a striking off the shoulder red gown with an extended train. Bonang completed the look with a 3D butterfly headpiece that was custom-made by Odd Commodities NY.

Her second look saw the businesswoman dazzling in a royal blue ball gown by Fouad Stark Couture. The beautiful gown was a fluffy and full gown that had a huge, pleated bow on one shoulder. She completed the look with blue statement earrings to match.

With her third look the media powerhouse looked absolutely breathtaking as she wore a lace figure-hugging dress that also had a long, dramatic train.

Her last look for the evening saw the philanthropist wearing a sequined gold, black and silver dress by Steven Khalil. The dress had shoulder and waist cut out details. Bonang completed her look with paired silver sandal heels and gold accessories.

BONANG STUNS AT 2019 MISS SA PAGEANT

In 2019, known for her bold choices in fashion, the media powerhouse changed into three breathtaking dressed. The personality opened the 2019 Miss SA competition wearing a gown crafted by Villioti Couture. She completed the Grecian inspired gown with a stunning gold headpiece.

Her second look was another Villioti Couture ensemble. The gown in question was sunshine yellow gown that was covered in silver diamantes and had a long train. Matheba completed her look with a yellow flower headpiece.

For her final look Bonang wore a silver body hugging gown by well-known designer Gert-Johan Coetzee.
