Agent Gives Update On Eva Nga’s Chiefs Move

The agent of Chippa United striker Bienvenu Eva Nga has confirmed to iDiski Times that his deal with Kaizer Chiefs is off.

Just a week after iDiski Times first reported that Chiefs were interested in the Cameroonian forward, who has netted 10 goals for the Chillie Boys this season, there has been a new development.

It was understood that Amakhosi were looking for a new striker with both Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic potentially leaving Naturena in the upcoming window.

It was thought that in Eva Nga they had found the solution after Chippa boss Siviwe “Chippa” Mpengese was also seen at the Chiefs village recently to possibly work on concluding this deal.

However, there has seemingly been a change of heart among Chiefs’ leadership, as Eva Nga’s representative Charles Domingoea confirmed the collapse of the deal.

“Yes, the deal is off, we couldn’t agree on personal terms and as things stand, it doesn’t look like Eva Nga will be going to Chiefs as initially planned,” Domingoea told iDiski Times.

It remains to be seen who else the Glamour Boys will identify as new striker after South African agent Mike Makaab also previously confirmed the Soweto giants were browsing the market for a new striker.
