Young Stunna clears the air on delayed album

Amapiano star Young Stunna has finally addressed growing speculation around the delayed release of his highly anticipated album, Busiswe.

As 2025 draws to a close, questions around the album intensified on social media, with some users suggesting the delay had more to do with behind-the-scenes industry politics than creative timing.

One online user, @TheOGPurist, sparked conversation after sharing a theory that linked the holdup to contractual issues involving Piano Hub and Sony Music.

“I have a theory as to why Young Stunna is taking so long to drop his album. I think the duration of his contract with Piano Hub is finished, but Sony doesn’t want to let him go because of the money he generates for them. I think the label is delaying the album so they can add his features,” the user wrote.

The speculation gained traction, especially given Young Stunna’s recent injury in East London, which had already raised questions about possible setbacks.

However, the vocalist moved quickly to shut down the rumours.

In a video clip that has since gone viral, Young Stunna is seen speaking candidly with music executive and podcaster Slikour, where he dismissed the contract claims and explained the real reason behind the delay.

While he did not go into excessive detail, the singer made it clear that the album’s timeline is a deliberate decision rather than a result of label disputes.
