Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, hosted international visitors at this year’s Miss Cosmo International Grand Finale this weekend, and our very own Bonang Matheba was on hand as co-host, along with MC Duc Bao.
The pageant is in its second year. The first pageant was also held in Vietnam in 2024, seeing Ketut Permata Juliastrid from Indonesia take the inaugural crown of the pageant.
Much to the crowd’s delight, Matheba did not disappoint as a host, but her impeccable fashion choices and presentation were what South Africa is used to when she graces pageant and award stages as a host or MC.
Matheba chose dresses from three designers, namely, Sandton-based Biji La Maison – whose black and gold stunner was a showstopper. The second and third designers are Nigeria’s Sheye Oladejo and Emagine by Bukola.
Emagine by Bukola gave Matheba a red-hot flame gown, while Sheye Oladejo and the host put together a water-themed beauty for the event.
And the Miss Cosmo International 2025 winner is…
Miss USA, Yolina Lindquist, took the crown at the 2025 Grand Finale of the pageant after beating 72 other contestants from around the world, including South Africa’s 20-year-old Pale Legoabe.
