Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has shared who he believes would be the best actor to play him in a movie.

The 35-year-old already has his own autobiography and documentary, titled Rise, which was released in 2023.

WHO SHOULD PLAY SIYA KOLISI IN A MOVIE?

Appearing in a TikTok video on the ATP Final account, Springboks captain shared his love of other sports, apart from rugby.

This included tennis and football, the latter of which he supports Premier League club, Liverpool.

Siya was asked who he believed should play him in a movie about his life.

He responded: “For me, it would be Chadwick Boseman. Because we’ve got the same hairstyle…And I love Marvel, Wakanda Forever”.

Sadly, the US actor died in 2020 after a private battle with colon cancer. He was 43 years old.

AN EXECUTIVE PRODUCER TOO

In addition to being a world-renowned rugby player, Siya Kolisi also tried his hand at film.

The Springboks captain and his now ex-partner, Rachel Kolisi, were the executive producers of the 2021 short film #WeAreDyingHere, which deals with gender-based violence in South Africa.

Siya said of the powerful message of the film: “The narrative of the film also teaches you that Gender-Based Violence doesn’t start with the violence, but the whole thought process; the film encompasses a lot of educational learnings for us as men.”

The film is now streaming on Showmax.
