‘Podcaster and media personality Sol Phenduka has weighed in on a video that left many South Africans baffled — a police van appearing to deliver alcohol in Cosmo City.

The former Kaya 959 host shared the clip on his social media, where it quickly gained traction and sparked heated discussions about the state of law enforcement.

Visibly shocked by what he saw, Sol commented on the bizarre moment, linking it to the broader controversies dominating headlines.

“If we not dealing with Sibiya, we ‘see beer’ being transported by cops,” he wrote, referencing the ongoing revelations at the Madlanga Commission.

Social media users didn’t hold back either. The comments section filled up with reactions ranging from humour to frustration.

One user joked, “Mokgotsi, you’re very good at this pun thing,” while another questioned the state of policing: “Why are they still operating?”

Others tried to offer alternative explanations, including the possibility that officers were returning confiscated alcohol after someone produced a valid license.
