Kelly Khumalo and Thami Dish reconcile

Singer Kelly Khumalo and media personality Thami Kotlolo, popularly known as Thami Dish, have mended their friendship after being apart for four years.

The pair’s heartwarming reunion happened during the Sunday Brunch series in Pretoria, where Thami took to the stage to introduce Kelly before her performance.

Their affectionate exchange instantly drew attention, marking the return of one of Mzansi’s favorite celebrity friendships.

In a chat with TshisaLIVE, Thami revealed that their reconciliation actually took place earlier this year, but they intentionally decided to keep things private.

“We never had deep issues; it was just a break in friendship. There was never really a fallout,” he explained.

“I took a break from doing reality shows and featuring on them, and I think that might have had a bit of an impact on our friendship.”

Reflecting on their reconnection, Thami said it all began with a “beautiful five-hour phone call,” followed by dinner.

“It was an adult decision to reconnect,” he added. “We’ve since been enjoying ourselves privately.”
