Lekompo musician Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, popularly known as Shebeshxt, has been arrested.

As reported by IOL, the arrest took place on Wednesday morning and is in connection with a case of attempted murder. This comes after a road rage shooting incident that took place in Limpopo last month.

The case was initially opened at Westernburg SAPS and was subsequently transferred to the Provincial Investigation Unit for further investigation.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba confirmed that detectives obtained a warrant of arrest on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, which led to the suspect’s apprehension.

During the operation, Shebeshxt’s cars were also seized to facilitate forensic analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.

As reported by Sunday World, the ‘Dilo Tse Massive’ hitmaker is expected to appear at the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Thursday.

His arrest comes at a time when his packed festive season gig guide went viral on social media platforms, sending ripples through Mzansi’s entertainment circles and garnering many opinions among fans.
