Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is desperate for consistency at the club.

The Buccaneers know very well that in order to challenge Mamelodi Sundowns for league honours, you have to be consistent.

Ouaddou has gotten off to a dream start in Mayfair. The Moroccan coach lifted the MTN8 title. He’s one step away from lifting the Carling Knockout title as well.

After a harsh exit in the CAF Champions League, winning the league will be a high priority for Orlando Pirates.

Orlando Pirates coach warns Ndaba

Abdeslam Ouaddou has warned 23-year-old defender Nkosikhona Ndaba against complacency.

The left-back who joined the club from Richards Bay at the beginning of the season is showing signs of serious promise.

He’s made seven appearances and is growing with every game at the club. Ndaba earned assists in he last two games.

And while praising him, Ouaddou has also warned the rising Orlando Pirates star.

“We are playing many competitions. Ndaba is part of the group of Orlando Pirates players who are able to give us something when called upon,” Abdeslam Ouaddou said as quoted by KickOff.

The Moroccan coach is hoping for more of the same from Ndaba going forward.

“I’m very happy, but like I said, consistency is very key. You cannot play two or three games well and then drop. I always say to my players that the consistency of their performances will bring them to the highest level. He must continue like that.”

Ndaba’s numbers this season

The talented full-back has made 7 appearances for Orlando Pirates. He also has two assists to his name.

He’s considering as Deon Hotto’s long-term successor at the Buccaneers.
