Lynn Forbes, the mom of slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, penned an Instagram post as the suspects in his murder trial arrive in South Africa.

LYNN FORBES: ‘I CANNOT BREATHE’

The suspects in the AKA murder trial have arrived in South Africa, and the slain rapper’s mom Lynn Forbes seemingly reacted in an Instagram post. She expressed that justice for her would be AKA coming home, everything else is just a process.

“If you were the one coming home today … that would be justice for me. Everything else is just process. This South African air is suffocating today … I cannot breathe 💔,” she wrote.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE AKA MURDER TRIAL

AKA was shot dead outside Wish Restarant on Florida Road in Durban on 10 February 2023, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. The two men accused of killing the rapper have arrived in Durban, South Africa to face the murder charges.

Earlier this year, brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande were arrested by the Eswatini Royal Police. Now, they have been brought back to Durban. The brothers are reportedly facing 23 other charges.

Instagram users took to the comments section of the post to show love and support to the grieving mom. Take a look…

“I’m so sorry my Lynn..I didn’t even know until now. 😞 Sending much love and loads of hugs. 🫂 As much as we all want them to be brought to justice, the trauma and damage is irreversible so I pray you find strength and peace to breathe and keep going. 🙏🏽🤍,” wrote Jennifer Bala.

“Sending you the BIGGEST love ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Bianca Naidoo.

“Eishhhh I’m so sorry, I can only imagine the pain you feel as a family of losing him. We were just fans but yoooh, AKA’s death was one of the most painful one. Where is the justice though!! There was a whole CCTV. We all saw what happened, who was signalling etc. I can’t believe that after all that there isn’t justice yet. After all that the world saw, the betrayal, you have remained classy. May God bring comfort and justice to your family ❤️,” wrote Babegal408.
