Rachel Kolisi, the ex-wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, has stirred conversation online after appearing to like a series of comments that take aim at her former husband, with some calling him “evil” and “Satan.”

The influencer and philanthropist, who has been open about her emotional healing and mental health journey, seems to be subtly hinting at the pain behind their public split.

The couple, once celebrated as one of South Africa’s most inspiring love stories, announced their separation a year ago.

Since then, both have been adjusting to life as single parents while continuing their respective careers.

Rachel recently posted a TikTok video that many fans believe was a reflection on her past relationship.

The video featured an emotional voice-over of a woman describing betrayal by a loved one, saying: “As you’re falling, look up and you see your person watching you. They’re watching you fall and hit the ground, and they’re smiling… They didn’t stop the airplane, they didn’t come back to see if you were okay, or even apologise. Instead, they picked up a new person along the way… You don’t understand love anymore, you’ve met evil. They’ve killed a part of you before you were ready to die.”

The emotional clip quickly caught attention, with fans flooding the comments section to share their thoughts and experiences.

One user wrote, “Yes, he’s Xhosa, agents of Satan. Very selfish beings.”

She also liked another response that read, “…even after having met evil… goodness still prevails. And now every day you recognise your past for what it was… an incredibly painful revelation of who you are in Christ, but a much-needed revelation nonetheless.”

While Rachel hasn’t directly addressed the comments, many interpreted her online activity as a subtle response to lingering speculation about what led to the couple’s split.

In his 2023 autobiography Rise, Siya Kolisi opened up about personal struggles he faced during their marriage, including alcohol abuse, frequenting strip clubs, and reckless spending, revelations that fueled further discussion about the challenges they endured behind closed doors.
