Actress and model Luyanda Zuma shared her immense gratitude for being sashed Miss South Africa first runner-up recently.

The Levels actress is no stranger to the pageant world as she has been a Top 10 finalist in Miss South Africa 2022, coming in the top six at Miss Charm International and placing first runner-up at Miss Amagugu in 2019.  The 23-year-old from Pietermaritzburg took to her Instagram page to share her gratitude.

“Being Sashed First Runner-Up at Miss South Africa is a moment I’ll cherish forever, not just for what it represents, but for what it means in God’s divine plan. Every message, every word of love and encouragement has touched my heart deeply.

“Through it all, I’ve been reminded that His will has been done. I am exactly where I’m meant to be, walking in purpose, grace, and gratitude. I am my ancestors’ wildest dream, standing tall because of the prayers, sacrifices, and strength that came before me. And for that, I am endlessly thankful,” she penned.

Luyanda holds a Bachelor in Live Performance from AFDA.  Even thought Luyanda did not win Miss South Africa, she won the hearts of many.

The Miss South Africa organisation has also urged the public to not fall for the scam that claims to be collecting money for Luyanda.
