Former Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi is allegedly in a custody battle with his ex-partner, Buhle Sangweni, who recently moved with their child from the Free State to Gauteng.
Currently suspended for doping, Nkosi is reportedly taking legal action against Sangweni, who has allegedly reunited with her ex-husband, singer Bongani Fassie, son of the singing legend Brenda Fassie.
Sources claim Nkosi asked for advice from an ex-partner in KwaZulu-Natal about gaining custody.
“Sbu drove all the way from Mpumalanga to see his child in KZN and had to vent to the baby mama that Buhle was now blocking him from having access to their child,” a source said.
Another source suggested Sangweni left Nkosi after his doping scandal and was pulled back to Fassie by a potential reality show revival.
“Now Sbu is left alone and miserable, and he is crying over a chance to raise his child but Buhle is having none of it,” the source claimed.
When contacted, Sangweni denied blocking Nkosi’s access to the child.
After speaking with Nkosi, she initially offered to comment but later said: “If your information is reliable, why do you need me? Since you have reliable sources you will never get my and Sbu’s comments.”
Attempts to reach Nkosi for comment were unsuccessful.
