Eben Etzebeth and wife Anlia celebrate the arrival of baby number two

Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth and his wife, Anlia, have announced the arrival of their second child.
Anlia shared a photo from the hospital with their newborn and firstborn, captioned, “One week of us two.”
The couple first revealed their pregnancy news in September, posting a joyful family photo with their daughter and the caption: “#BabyEtzebeth2 on the way! Can’t wait to welcome our little wildflower girl!”
Just last week, Anlia penned a heartfelt letter to their firstborn, expressing her gratitude and love as their family prepared to grow.
“Our first score. My dearest daughter, you will always be the one (and Daddy, of course 🤭) who gave me the privilege of becoming a mummy. Thank you for everything you have taught us over the last 21 months to prepare us for No. 2. We love you.”
The Etzebeths welcomed their first daughter in January 2024.
Their love story began in 2021 when they met through mutual friends in Melkbosstrand, Cape Town.
In March 2022, less than a year after meeting, Eben proposed during a romantic trip to Hyères, France. They officially got married on 4 February 2023 in an intimate ceremony at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape.
