The PSL transfer window closes on Friday, 20 September, and a rush of last-minute deals is expected as clubs scramble to finalise their squads.
Newly-promoted Magesi FC has been the most active during the transfer period, but many big names could still move before the deadline.
Scrolla.Africa takes a look at some possible deals that could be completed on deadline day:
Sipho Mbule
Mbule is rumoured to be heading to Sekhukhune United on a season-long loan. Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi hinted at the move by saying Mbule “has issues” and needs to improve certain areas of his game. Sekhukhune could give him more playing time.
Happy Mashiane
The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has struggled to get regular game time over the last four seasons, and things got worse last season. He’s been linked with a loan move to Chippa United, where he could get more opportunities on the field.
Oswin Appollis
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in signing Polokwane City winger Oswin Appollis. They are still looking for an attacking player, and Appollis could be a last-minute signing.
Zakhele Lepasa
Lepasa has found it hard to get match time at Orlando Pirates, often not even making the bench. With Bradley Grobler out with a long-term injury, SuperSport United might make a move for Lepasa on a permanent deal.
Sammy Seabi
Sundowns have loaned the 29-year-old to Moroka Swallows, Chippa United, and Sekhukhune United. His agent, Mike Makaab, says they seek a permanent transfer to another club.
