5 men accused of Senzo Meyiwa’s murder pleads ‘not guilty’

The wait is over! After long hard 8 years of waiting the Meyiwa family might finally get answers and justice for their loved one.

The Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates soccer star was mysteriously shot and killed at his girlfriend place, singer Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, October 2014.

On Friday the five men accused of the murder of Bafana Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa appeared in the North Gauteng High court for the Murder trial. The accused are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition. The accused have all pleaded not guilty to all charges brought against them.

Accused 1- Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya pleads not guilty to all 5 counts

Accused 2-Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi  pleads not guilt to all 5 counts

Accused 3-Mthobisi Prince Mncube pleads not guilt to all 5 counts

Accused 4 -Mthokoziseni Maphisa pleads not guilt to all 5 counts

Accused 5- Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli pleads not guilt to all 5 counts

The court has now adjourned for lunch and they will resume at 13h30 pm
