@realtalks201 • In the early hours of August 21, 2025, a man identified as Mfana Ngwenya murdered his girlfriend outside a tavern called “Dubai” in Maubane, Hammanskraal, Gauteng, South Africa. He then aired a Facebook Live video showing her lifeless, bloodstained body, while uttering curses. • In a subsequent TikTok video, he confessed to the killing, claiming he was driven to it because, after supporting her lavishly, she allegedly cheated on him. • According to LindaIkeji’s Blog, he slashed her throat multiple times, stating that she had “ruined” them and professing: “They may judge me but you and I know the truth… RIP to you… I promised you till death do us apart… Will forever love you.” • The graphic videos were later taken down, but had already circulated widely online, prompting public outrage and calls for justice. • As of the time of those reports, the South African Police Service had not released an official statement, and it was unclear whether Ngwenya had been arrested. #gbv #gbvt#souths#newst#protectwomen ♬ original sound – realtalks201
