24-year-old woman appeared in court for stabbing boyfriend to death

The Lephalale Magistrate’s Court has postponed the murder case of a Limpopo, young woman, Emmy Serumula aged 24 to Monday, the 19th September.

Emmy Serumula appeared before the Lephalale Magistrate’s Court today, 12 September 2022.

Limpopo police Spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the Police were summoned to Marapong Health Care Center at 21h37 about a man who was brought to the center after having been stabbed and on arrival, they found a man lying dead with stab wound.

Motlafela Mojapelo says the preliminary investigation indicated that the deceased and his alleged girlfriend had an altercation while at Marapong Extension 1 and during the argument, the suspect stabbed the deceased with a sharp object.

Emmy will soon return to court for a formal bail application and has been remanded in custody.
