The Hawks have arrested three more suspects in the 2021 July unrest.
“We managed to arrest three more people, two were arrested in KZN and one was arrested in North West,” said Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Thandi Mbambo.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Durban Central Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Last week police arrested 22 alleged instigators following a joint law enforcement operation in several provinces.
The suspects appeared in court and 21 were released on R3,000 bail each, while one was remanded in custody.
