62-year-old Derick Butinyana Mosito was back before the Brits Magistrate’s Court today following the extraordinary discovery of a suspected CAT drug laboratory in Klipvoorstad, North West.
Mosito’s formal bail application did not proceed and has now been postponed to 17 September 2026. He remains in custody.
The suspected drug lab was reportedly uncovered after a search for LOST GOATS led to the property.
Three other men allegedly fled as police approached and remain at large.
Police previously said expensive, recently purchased equipment found at the property suggested the suspected operation may have been backed by someone with “very deep pockets”.
