Blouberg municipal manager Refilwe Jonas Ramothwala and two BBT Security Services directors appeared in the Senwabarwana Magistrateโs Court on Friday over an allegedly fraudulent security tender.
The three face a combined 73 charges, including fraud, theft and money laundering. Prosecutors allege the company submitted fraudulent tender documents, failed to meet key requirements and received more than R11 million in municipal payments.
The accused did not proceed with a formal bail application. The case returns to court on 1 October 2026.
