The rumour mill is buzzing with allegations that Dr. Musa Mthombeni is cheating on his wife, Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni, with a white lady.

On Wednesday, 15 April, an X user, _asemahle_n, was curious about the decrease in lovey-dovey content by Dr. Musa and Liesl on their social media platforms.

DR. MUSA MTHOMBENI ACCUSED OF ALLEGEDLY CHEATING

What came next were bombshells from commentary accounts Chris Excel and Salties Unmasked, claiming that there’s trouble in paradise between the couple.

Salties Unmasked wrote that word on the street is that Dr. Musa is having an affair with a white lady.

While no further details were divulged, some people defended the couple, stating that they had recently seen them together, while others actually believed the rumours.

Below is a thread that ignited the shocking allegations.

The post below from Salties Unmasked, leaked a DM from an unidentified source:

“Apparently, Musa purchased bums from this high-end booker. It was during his trip to the Island of Phuket,” wrote the source.

DR. MUSA TROLLED FOR SHOWING TOO MUCH LOVE

The former broadcaster was once trolled for showing too love much to his wife.

The online community was divided by this perception of Dr. Musa, debating that there are indeed healthy marriages out there and perhaps theirs was one of them.

While others like Slik Talk, felt that their marriage seemed one-sided, with Dr. Musa doing most of the posting.

THE MTHOMBENIS TIED THE KNOT IN 2021

The Mthombenis got married in August 2021. Their wedding came as a surprise since the public didn’t even know that they were dating.

They love creating memories together and exploring the world through travel. Their travel content often leaves others a tad jealous.

Their marriage has stood the test of time, despite trolls asking about their plans to expand their family.

Liesl clapped back at the unnecessary pressure: “Leave my womb alone. Leave other women’s wombs alone. Whether I am or not (let’s be clear, I am not), I just feel like you guys want to be seen,” she said.

Their birthdays and other milestones in the relationship are proudly celebrated. When Dr Musa completed his Master of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology in 2025, his wife wrote a touching caption honouring her husband’s achievement.
