Lebo M files legal case as ex-fiancée ‘disappears’ with luxury gifts

Lebo M drags ex-lover to court over luxury items he bought her

Lebo M is reportedly embroiled in a cross-continental dispute after his relationship with American ex-fiancée Tatiana “Besso” Dixon took a dramatic turn.

What once appeared to be a glamorous romance, marked by international travel and lavish designer items has now unravelled under murky circumstances.

Insiders claim Besso had travelled from the United States to South Africa to support Lebo M at a major concert in Durban, but shortly after the event, things took an unexpected shift.

“After the concert, something shifted,” a source alleges.

“There was no big public fight, no dramatic scene, she just pulled away, and then suddenly the relationship was over.”

While the breakup itself may have been quiet, the fallout has been anything but.

At the centre of the dispute are luxury items reportedly gifted during the relationship, including a Hermès Birkin bag said to be worth over R500,000 and a Cartier engagement ring valued at more than R300,000.

Sources claim Lebo M is now determined to recover the items, with efforts to contact Besso proving unsuccessful.

“He’s been looking for her high and low,” one insider said. “This isn’t just about the relationship ending anymore, it’s about what she left with.”

Attempts to reach her have reportedly hit a wall, with claims that she has blocked him across all communication platforms.

“No one can get through to her,” another source added. “It’s like she disappeared overnight. Total shutdown. But he wants what belongs to him.”

With direct communication cut off, the situation has allegedly escalated into formal legal action in the United States.

“He wants his belongings back,” the source insisted. “At this point, it’s being handled formally. He’s not letting it slide.”

The controversy unfolds as Lebo M has already moved on in his personal life.

The veteran producer is now reportedly married to Nomoya Refiloe Dube, also known as Moya, in what insiders describe as a fast-moving relationship following his split from Besso.

Still, those close to him say the matter remains unresolved.

“This situation hasn’t been closed properly,” a source noted. “And until those items are returned, it won’t be.”

Known globally for his work on The Lion King, Lebo M’s personal life has often made headlines, but this latest chapter adds another layer of intrigue to the story of one of South Africa’s most celebrated music figures.
