Kaizer Chiefs’ latest departures have been confirmed. Matthew Laubscher, one of their longest serving staff members, has officially parted ways with the club.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi have also reportedly released a talented starlet.
KAIZER CHIEFS AND LAUBSCHER PART WAYS
Head sports massage therapist, Laubscher has officially left Kaizer Chiefs.
“After 13 and a half years I have made the decision to part ways with Kaizer Chiefs!” Laubscher confirmed.
“To have been able to work with the club has been an absolute privilege and one that I never took lightly,” he added.
Laubscher had the privilege of working with Kaizer Chiefs legends such as former Bafana Bafana and Amakhosi captain Itumeleng Khune.
During his time at Naturena, Laubscher worked with several coaching staff and medical teams. Playing an integral role within the first-team setup, he supported the squad throughout training, league fixtures and domestic cup competitions while witnessing the club’s development on and off the pitch.

TALENTED STARLET LEAVES NATURENA
Kaizer Chiefs have released another talented starlet from their academy,
“Sima Bobo has officially parted ways with Chiefs, drawing the curtain on his nine-year stay in the club’s youth structures,” Kick Off reported.
The towering 20-year-old defender spent the last six months on loan with Mochudi Chiefs in Botswana. Now, he is officially able to join them or any club of his choice.
He joins a growing list of talented youngsters who have recently left Naturena at youth level.
The likes of Omega Mdaka and even Khulumani Ndamane slipped through the ranks. Mdaka now plays for PSL rivals Stellenbosch FC. Meanwhile, Ndumane joined TS Galaxy before catching the eyes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana.
