Khloé Kardashian slams Lamar Odom for discrediting her

Lamar Odom’s Netflix documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom has sparked conversation about his take on his recovery, especially regarding the role his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, played.

While sitting with her best friend, Malika Haqq, on her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, Kardashian voiced her hesitation about participating in the documentary, not knowing how it would turn out, and the aftermath of Odom’s press tour to promote the film.

“I was asked by Lamar or Lamar’s team, whatever you want to say. I was asked if I can do the documentary…,” began Kardashian.

“And also, I wanted to make sure it was handled in the best way. I said, I want to make sure this is a positive piece.”

Kardashian said she didn’t “want to go down this road if it’s negative,” because her ex-husband has “been through enough negative… Everyone was like, ‘No, it’s amazing, it’s going to be really positive.’ He’s the one doing it. He’s the one asking. I’m like, ‘Okay, cool.’”

Not only did he discredit her in the documentary, but since the documentary came out, Odom has put a negative spin on Kardashian’s role in his life and recovery after his overdose and subsequent health issues.

Khloé Kardashian’s reaction

“I think what’s pissing me off is we did this, all good, I was done with this,” she said. “I’m like, I’m never going to do another Lamar thing again because I’m all good. It’s finished. But now Lamar is doing press, annoyed with me…. insinuating that I’m a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him.”

And all of this is after years of Odom crediting Kardashian for her help and support when he needed her the most.

“I don’t even need you to sing my praises. But you’re not now going to s**t on me or now play in my face because you don’t like the reaction and the response from the ‘public.’”
