The two drama series are concluding their seasons as they will be taking a bow from our screens, after years of keeping Mzansi entertained with their riveting storylines.

The Milton Empire brings another telenovela after Inimba, that promises a gripping storyline. The Phoenix will be replacing Scandal!
Set to showcase the beauty of Eastern Cape, the drama series follows the story of Kholeka, a woman navigating a dangerous, male-dominated cannabis farming industry after her wealthy husband is murdered. The Phoenix will premier on April 7, with a stellar cast that includes Tango Ncetezo, Dumisani Mbebe, Zikhona Bali, Lulama AJ, Yonda Thomas, Tyson Matonsi and Brenda Ngxoli.

Another one set to take over where Smoke and Mirrors left off is Emzini. Set in Alexander township, Emzini embraces the backdrop of a thriving township lifestyle economy. The telenovela explores what happens when the pursuit of legacy comes at the expense of truth. It is produced by respected storyteller Loyiso Maqoma, who is renowned for previous work on Imbewu: The Seed and Smoke and Mirrors.

Emzini features a star-studded cast that includes Wiseman Mncube, Khabonina Qubeka, Dumisani Mbebe, Motshabi Tyelele and Muzi Mthabela.
